Garlic | Pie

Love is an apple

To intensify a love relationship, make you lover an apple pie. When you roll out the pie crust keep thinking passionate thoughts, when you add the apples, think of how your love can grow when you are together. cut a heart in the upper crust, and write your name and your partner's name on the bottom crust before you add the filling.

What you need:

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup light oil (corn)
• 2 tablespoons cold milk
• 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 6 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Crust

In a big bowl, (metal or ceramic is better for magic than plastic) mix together 1 1/2 cups flour, oil, milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar and salt until evenly blended.

Pat mixture into a 9 inch pie pan, spreading the dough evenly over the bottom and up sides.

Crimp edges of the dough around the perimeter.

Write your name and your lover's name on the bottom crust, and also put: Aphrodite help me win (his or her) love.

Filling

Mix together 3/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Mix with your hand, allowing your magical energy to spread with the apples.

Insert into pie shell.

Crumb topping

With two knives or a pastry cutter, mix together 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar and butter until the mixture turns crumbly and oatmeal like in texture. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 45 minutes.
